Art cortex, home of mixed media arts and sciences for children to explore and exercise their creative minds. The program started in 2015 with only a DJ class. Today, the program has successfully been implemented in over 10 schools in Miami Dade County and has served over 200 kids in South Florida. We now offer 6 programs and have great activities for your young creatives.

The mission is to help the young minds of our future leaders of tomorrow, inspire and create their individual platform. We have created a space where they can be free of any limitations and let their imaginations run.

Meet the team

Christina Hernandez Founder & CEO

Is the founder of  Art Cortex LLC, a Youth arts company specializing in DJ-ing,  Music Production, Photography, Graphic Design, Videography and Mixed Media Arts. The programs expand all throughout South Florida.

Christina has always had an interest in the Arts from taking on photography at the young age of 8 to becoming a DJ in 2010. All her skills have been self taught and developed through time and years of practice.

She is a Miami native and has always been involved in the Miami music scene. From discovering new artists & music, her main interest and driving force behind her need to be a DJ. Her DJ career has lead her to inspire young artistic minds, to becoming a DJ instructor and teaching children and adults the art of DJ-ing. Also launching an all female DJ Academy. She has a background in Radio broadcasting hosting her own radio show on Miami’s local online radio station Klangbox.FM

Christina has also been featured in WLRN, girls can spin too campaign, a 8 week course for female DJs in South Florida. She has also been featured in Miami’s Leah Arts District, Movers & Shakers as an influencer from the city of Hialeah.
